If you set your heart and mind to it, you can do it. Honest. And then nothing will ever be the same. You will laugh and laugh when you see how it really is.

Why bother with all this? To be honest, it is the greatest high we can have. The pleasure is beyond anything on earth. Really. The essence of divine experience is unending devastating bliss and an unshakable silent peace.

As we move forward on our spiritual path, we find that our desire shifts to become more for the action itself – the divine flow coming through us – and not so much for the end result. The desire and divine flow become one. In becoming one like that, our actions become a powerful force of evolution in all that we do in our everyday life. It is the power of love – outpouring divine love.

We have become love on the move, stillness in action, which is the marriage of stillness and divine ecstasy radiating constantly from within us. Then all of life becomes our divine beloved and all we do is a glorious dance unfolding unity everywhere. The journey begins in love, and ends in love.

Creating self-sufficiency in the practitioner is the key… it is why I am forever reminding practitioners that it is about our relationship with knowledge, effective daily practices and experiences, and not about the teacher.

When we act as stillness in action, it is a partnership between our individual expression on this earth and the divine flow.

Let go in the flow, and you will realize that you are the flow, a marriage of human and divine. This is freedom.

Enlightenment never proclaims itself. It only does, in a perpetual divine outpouring for the benefit of others in ordinary living.

Enlightenment is not something that can be possessed personally. Enlightenment of the one is enlightenment of the whole, and vise versa. The two cannot be separated. Therefore, whether any of us can be labeled as “enlightened” or not is rather meaningless, because we are on a continuum of ever-expanding consciousness.

It all depends on daily practice, and going out and applying plenty of elbow grease in daily living. This is not a path for the lazy. There is no free ride. We each progress according to our own effort… enlightenment is not for couch potatoes.
